Reality Bites (1994) is an American film which stars Winona Ryder, Ethan Hawke, Janeane Garofalo, Steve Zahn, and Ben Stiller. Renée Zellweger also appears. It was directed by Stiller & written by HSPVA graduate Helen Childress.

the plot follows a life of recent college graduate Lelaina Pierce (Ryder) & her tries to capture a strife & problems that her generation must face by making a documentary about her friends. Lelaina's friends include a somewhat nonconcentric & promiscuous Vickie (Garofalo), a intelligent however sleeping Troy (Hawke), & a shy, quiet & gay Sammy (Zahn). Lelainthe too meets Michael (Stiller) fallowing she throws a cigaret into his convertible, causing him to crash into her car. Them agree to last in the date, which makes Troy upset because he loves her however is incapable of admitting it.

Moving-picture show was filmed within Houston, Texas, in the artsy neighborhood of Montrose. Lelaina's home was actually placed in West Dallas Street.
